1. About the Service

Yeou Saju is a Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) reading service that provides personalized readings based on traditional East Asian philosophical interpretation.

1.1 Entertainment Purpose Only

All readings, analyses, and content provided through the App are for entertainment purposes only. Our service:

  • Does not constitute financial, investment, medical, psychological, legal, or any other form of professional advice;
  • Does not claim scientific validity, accuracy, or predictive power;
  • Does not guarantee any specific outcome or result;
  • Is based on traditional philosophical interpretation, not empirical evidence.

You acknowledge and agree that you will not rely on any reading or content from the App as a substitute for professional advice. For important life decisions, always consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.

1.2 No Professional Advice

Without limiting Section 1.1:

  • Financial content within readings (e.g., wealth tendencies) is not investment advice. Consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.
  • Health-related content within readings (e.g., wellness tendencies) is not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any health concerns.
  • Relationship content within readings is not psychological or legal counseling. Consult a qualified professional for relationship or legal matters.

3. User Accounts and Payments

3.1 Account Creation

Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.2 Paid Readings

The App offers both free and paid readings. Each paid reading is a one-time purchase — you pay per reading, and there are no recurring charges or automatic renewals.

  • Pricing is as displayed in the App or on the applicable app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) at the time of purchase.
  • Billing is processed through the applicable app store's payment system, or through third-party payment processors (Stripe for international card payments and Toss Payments as the payment gateway). We do not directly collect or store your payment card information.
  • All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Each purchase grants you access to one complete Saju reading. Once generated, your reading remains accessible for the duration specified at the time of purchase.

3.3 Promotional Offers

If we offer promotional pricing or free readings:

  • We will clearly disclose the terms and conditions of any promotion.
  • Promotional offers do not convert to recurring charges.

4. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

4.1 Refund Policy — Before and After Viewing

Each paid reading is a one-time purchase of digital content. Your refund eligibility depends on whether you have viewed the reading:

Purchased but NOT yet viewedFull refund available upon request within 14 days of purchase.
Viewed (reading opened/accessed)No refund. By opening your reading, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived upon delivery.

In addition, you are entitled to a refund regardless of viewing status in the following cases:

  • Technical failure: If a paid reading fails to generate due to a technical error on our end, you will receive a full refund or a replacement reading at no additional cost.
  • Duplicate purchase: If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same reading, we will refund the duplicate charge.

4.2 EU/EEA and UK Users — Right of Withdrawal (Article 16(m))

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.

However, this right is waived when you access your reading. Before your reading is displayed, you will be asked to:

  1. Expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content; and
  2. Acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal.

If you do not view your reading within 14 days of purchase, you may exercise your right of withdrawal for a full refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

IN NO EVENT SHALL FOUR PILLARS LABS, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that mandatory law does not permit to be excluded.

9. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Four Pillars Labs, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App ("Dispute") shall be resolved as follows:

  1. Informal resolution. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at help@ysaju.com and attempt to resolve the Dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the Dispute by contacting you in good faith. If the Dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days of your notice, either party may proceed to formal resolution.

  2. Binding arbitration. Except as provided in Section 10.2(3) below, any unresolved Dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The seat of arbitration shall be Wilmington, Delaware, but you may elect to participate by videoconference or telephone, or to have the hearing held in the U.S. county where you reside. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

  3. Exceptions to arbitration. Either party may bring a Dispute in small-claims court if the Dispute qualifies for small-claims jurisdiction. Either party may also seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized access to the App.

  4. Class action waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you and Four Pillars Labs, Inc. agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.

  5. Opt-out right. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement and class action waiver in Sections 10.2(2) and 10.2(4) by sending written notice to help@ysaju.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, the email associated with your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.

10.3 Mandatory Local Consumer Protections

Nothing in this Section overrides mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. In particular:

  • EU/EEA/UK users: You retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you are protected by the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your local law.
  • Australian users: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
